Martin Engineering Expands Conveyor Solutions with Acquisition of ConveyorTech Pty Ltd (CVT)

Published: June 16th 2026

Martin Engineering has expanded its conveyor solutions offering with the strategic acquisition of ConveyorTech Pty Ltd (CVT), a leading Australian manufacturer of conveyor components.

The acquisition broadens the range of belt cleaning systems available to Martin Engineering customers; introducing additional configurations and materials that extend coverage across different operating conditions. The inclusion of non‑urethane designs allows operators to select solutions better suited to specific applications and site requirements.

CVT’s product line is built for heavy duty use, with designs developed for high wear environments commonly found in mining and bulk materials handling. The range includes primary and secondary cleaners equipped with tungsten carbide components, supporting consistent performance in abrasive and high load conditions.

The integration of CVT into Martin Engineering’s portfolio focuses on aligning product design, manufacturing standards and supply capability. This ensures the expanded range is supported by established processes for quality, availability and aftersales service across global operations.

Martin® H1 Primary Belt Cleaner - A heavy‑duty primary cleaner fitted with tungsten carbide tips for strong wear resistance. Designed for use on high speed and high load conveyors, it delivers consistent removal of carryback at the head pulley, supporting reduced downtime and improved system efficiency.
Martin® P2 Secondary Belt Cleaner - A secondary cleaner developed to remove leftover fines after primary cleaning. Available with multiple tungsten carbide tip options, it is suited to abrasive materials and helps minimise residual carryback, reducing spillage and dust generation.
Martin® R2 Secondary Belt Cleaner - Engineered for reversing conveyors, trippers and shuttle systems, the R2 provides reliable belt cleaning performance in applications where belt direction changes. It maintains effective material removal in challenging bulk handling environments.

Australia is among the first regions to access the expanded range, alongside Brazil, Canada, China, India, Mexico, the United States and parts of Europe, supported by Martin Engineering’s global manufacturing and distribution network.

The addition of CVT strengthens Martin Engineering’s ability to deliver a more complete conveyor solution, giving operators access to a wider selection of components backed by consistent technical support.
